HEALTH GUARANTEE

Take your puppy to the vet within 48 hrs. The puppy you have purchased is; to the best of my knowledge, in good health at the time of sale. The puppy is guaranteed against any hereditary defects that are life threatening to the puppy, until the puppy is one year of age. If found to have a defect the puppy will be replaced with another puppy.  The buyer is responsible for providing me with a veterinarian statement as to it's defect or cause of death.  If the puppy passes at home, it must be taken to a vet for his written opinion of death. This statement will be discussed with my vet, if he agrees with the diagnosis, your puppy will be replaced as soon as one is available. This statement must be provided to me within 5 days of the diagnosis and the puppy returned to me within 7 days at buyers expense, with all AKC papers and other paper work given at time of purchase. The puppy will be current on vaccinations and de-worming when it leaves our home. The buyer must keep current records of all vaccinations, de-wormings, have the puppy on Nuvet Vitamin's and provide proof of all of this with ALL vet records.  Buyer is aware that any and all veterinary costs after the date of purchase, are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The buyer acknowledges that this contract is void if they do not keep vaccinations, de-wormings and  the recommended Nuvet vitamin's current or fails to seek medical attention immediately for a sick puppy. The guarantee does not cover the puppy if the puppy is abused, untreated illness,  mistreated  or neglected in any way.  We do not guarantee against Coccidi or other parasites, hypoglycemia, Parvo, distemper or any disease's that are preventable with normal vaccinations.  Any and all disputes arising from this agreement shall be handled in Bakersfield, Ca. This guarantee is void if you sell or give away the puppy. We do not guarantee color, size, temperament, hernias, pinched nostrils or breeding ability of any puppy. There are no other guarantees written or implied except what is on this contract. I am always willing to take back any of my puppies if you can no longer care for them but can not reimburse you.  All puppies are sold AKC limited registration unless other arrangements are made and there will be an additional charge. if your puppy is limited AKC, you will not received the papers until your puppy has been spayed or neutered and you send me proof of such. By purchasing a puppy from us, you agree to these terms even if you do not sign this agreement and return it to us.

PUPPY CARE FOR THE FIRST WEEK

1. Keep dry food soaked in water, in front of the puppy 24 hours a day for AT LEAST a week. Puppies have small stomachs and need to eat frequently. Dry food can also be given. This helps guard against hypoglycemia.                                                                                                                                                      2. Your puppy will be clean when you receive it.  Keep dry and warm. No bath for the first week, to prevent undue stress, prevent chilling and water in ears which can cause infection etc...                                              3. Give half of a Nuvet vitamin everyday, until he reach 8-10 pounds, then full tablet. Nutri-cal is also good. I will have a sample of Nuvet for you or you can order some on my home page to have on hand. This will help with hypoglycemia if they don't eat well the first few days and with the stress of moving to a new home.          4. Just like a baby your puppy will need a lot of sleep, constant attention and keeping her out of things she shouldn't be into. They are curious and will eat things they shouldn't, paper, trash, plastic on toys etc....            5. Keep current on shots and de-worming. Do not take your puppy into area's where strays could have been, (front yard, friends, groomer etc...)  until 2 weeks after they have had their 3rd shot.
